1st Annual Photo Contest!

You may not realise this, but October 2011 was when I officially launched my business! It has been an amazing year that has taught me and blessed me much! To say "thank you" to all my amazing fans I am hosting a contest to give away a free photo session!

Here are the deets:
1. take an original photo using "milestones" as the theme

2. Submit the photo by October 14th to nlyp@live.com (don't forget to include a story of the photo!)

3. Get votes for your photo on my Facebook page from October 15th through October 22nd

4. Winner will be determined by the most number of "likes" per photo

5. Winner will be announced October 29th and will have one year to use their free session at a local shoot

No graphic or offensive material will be accepted. Participants must be at least 13 years of age to enter. All photos will be released to be used in any way pertaining to the contest. So, here is my challenge to you: Get my page to 100 likes by midnight on Monday, September 3rd, and I will give away a free portrait session to a random winner!

Of course I won't be flying across the country to do a portrait session, but I you can always transfer the prize to a local friend or family member!

Brody {Senior 2013}

Another successful and gorgeous Saturday for a photography session! Brody will officially become my cosuin next spring when I get married, so it was enjoyable to get to know him a little better! He takes great pride in his car, and has spent many a days dilligently making it his own creation!

Being in front of the camera is not always easy, but eventually Brody warmed up to it...

As evidenced by the actual smile that emerged!



I might even be so bold to say that he came to enjoy it...

We had to re-schedule twice due to cloudy and rainy weather, but Saturday was perfect!

It is always a pleasure to work with out-going and up-for-anything people, and Michaela was no exception!

 Under a gorgeous sun and gentle breeze, I presonally had a blast shooting these photos!

Getting behing the lense of a camera has finally given me a way to share with others the beauty my eyes behold.
